YES, PLEASE...JEREMEASE!

"Rocky" might as well be the Big Brown of Quarter Horses! This 11 years young gelding is a Big, Brown gelding by the great Holland Ease! Rocky is out of an own daughter of Calyx by Dash For Cash, and his second dam is by the great Azure Te.  Do the math...the stud fee alone to get him as a colt would cost in excess of $6000! But really, who cares when you have such a nice, quiet, gorgeous, and well broke AQHA gelding?  Rocky has been used recently for High School Rodeo barrels, but is also broke in the poles and has been started roping.  He is quiet with a BIG heart and a tremendous amount of speed and athleticism.  This gelding is QUIET, fun to ride, will go up, through, and down anything, he's great at the beach and in the water, and he's just simply a good, safe ALL AROUND type of gelding.  Whether you are looking for a faithful trail companion, a decent rodeo competetor, or perhaps want to indulge in a little Cowboy Dressage, Rocky is definitely your guy!  We love him and a special home is a MUST.  Please contact me for additional pictures and video.  Rocky is UTD on farrier, teeth, and vaccinations.  Vet exams are welcome at the buyers expence.

Has it REALLY been this long?

I am so disappointed in myself for not posting in The Update Place for so long.  Really, this is a place to post updates on GW Horse and Cattle Company, it's partners, and just really what's going on with all of us!!  Rather than write a novel on the past...which I may do someday...I'll just let you know what's going on NOW.  If you want to know how we got here, well then, feel free to ask!  But, WE'RE HERE!!!

Things are really happening.  I have moved to Shandon, CA with my wonderful boyfriend Ron, and on a quaint 6 acres, which is just enough to enjoy what we have, and take on a few sale horses for customers.  We both work full time, and our careers and horses are priority.  But, I will take on a consignment horse, here and there, on an as needed bases.  We have a decent arena, round pen, paddocks, and access to roping steers.  I used to enjoy problem horses, but since I have a handful of young horses to get going myself, I will only take on solid horses to sale for customers.  They must be safe, sane, and fit in to my work schedule.  I will also consider young horses that just need some TLC like good nutrition and "charm school".  Please feel free to contact me if you have a horse in consideration for sales.

Dad and I are off on a new venture, looking in to buying a herd of cattle for investment purposes.  We head out to Colorado soon to meet the ranch managers and (hopefully) pick out our heifers.  Really, this is on Dad, but I can't let him pick out a bunch of leppies!  We'll keep you posted on the progress, but we both feel very optimistic about the opportunity.

I probably should make a promise...that I won't wait 2 years between posts!  Someone needs to hold me to it!!!

Good night friends!
